The Aurea 46 is a granular nitrogen fertilizer with a high content of nitrogen in the form Ureic (46%), containing the NBPT "N (nbutil) tiofosforicotriammide", urease inhibitor chemical. The NBPT inhibits the enzyme urease, thus slowing the conversion of urea nitrogen in ammonia (highly volatile). This phenomenon allows urea to have more time to go down into the ground and to significantly reduce the volatilization of phenomena due to an increase of concentration of ammonia in the soil.
